Reviews of the comprehensive behaviour support plan should be conducted within 12 months of the previous support plan being implemented or earlier, if needed.
| Person responsible | Step |
Throughout the comprehensive behaviour support plan’s implementation, communicate and consult with the person with disability, their Circle of Support and paid support network to understand how the plan is meeting the person’s needs and the needs of the people around them. Informally consulting with the authorised program officer throughout this process will result in a stronger plan and enable smoother approval as any issues can be identified and addressed early.
Review the comprehensive behaviour support plan. Find out more about what should be considered when reviewing behaviour support plans [link to Reviewing plans].
